History
Bundi and the Hada Chauhan rulers
The palace and fort complex developed over centuries above Bundi, with successive rulers expanding its courts, halls, fortifications and painted rooms.
Taragarh occupies the strategic hill above the city, while Garh Palace descends the slope in a layered sequence of structures that records changing architectural and artistic priorities.
The Trust
Kuldevi Ashapura Mataji Trust
Founded in December 2010, the Trust works to preserve heritage buildings, support conservation and restoration, revive cultural knowledge and encourage the continued study of the Bundi School of Art.
